WHAT IS PRIMARY COLOURS

Primary Colours is a one-person company founded by Robert Persson, today built on more than 15 years of experience within live music, events and television. Today the work is focused on production management, project leadership and senior roles in both complex, fast-moving productions as well as at some of Sweden’s most renowned venues.

What began as volunteer work at the iconic rock venue Pipeline gradually evolved into self-taught lighting work, followed by roles as booker, promoter and venue manager. After several years, the first company — Strange House — was formed as a reflection of that time, combining consulting work with a strong focus on developing and promoting Sundsvall as a music city, while representing emerging local artists.

As the work evolved, so did the focus. Through curiosity and experience, three core disciplines emerged: lighting, backline and tour management. Together, these roles began to function like primary colours — different in nature, but stronger when combined.

Today, Primary Colours is less tour-focused, but the core idea remains unchanged: blending experience, perspectives and disciplines into a cohesive whole.
